Much here is new – the suites, the technology, the name. What we want to preserve is older: the way of welcoming guests for which this valley is known. No one person is the host here; it is everyone you meet.

Four hundred years, seven chapters

Since 1624

A mill by the stream, forbidden bread, an auction on Christmas Eve and a star that remained for forty-one years. Seven chapters have been written – we are working on the eighth.

Our values

Four-hundred-year-old walls, electricity from our own roof, bread from the village bakery. Most of this is not a special initiative, but simply how things are built and done here.
