Up to Hörchenberg

Our shortest circular walk also offers the greatest reward with every step: up through the vines to views across the Rhine Valley and, on clear days, as far as the Vosges.

The route rises steadily through the vineyards, passing the Gaishöll waterfalls. Two hours, no technical difficulties, just a quickening breath.

At Hörchenberg, the path levels out and the view opens to the west. Set out in the late afternoon and you will see the sun suspended above the plain. There are benches here, and no one is in a hurry.
