The Grand Vineyard Loop

If you choose just one hike, make it this one. It takes in everything Sasbachwalden is known for: the vineyards, the orchards, the waterfalls and the schnapps fountains.

The loop has earned the Genießerpfad designation – and you can tell: narrow tracks instead of roads, views that keep opening up, hardly any tarmac.

The Gaishöll waterfalls come first, followed by the heights above the village with views across the Rhine Valley. In between are schnapps fountains, a handful of farms, old orchards. Over three hours, the landscape changes time and time again.

Back at the house, the panorama pool is waiting – or the sauna if your legs feel heavy. Both come with your stay.
