The Wine Legends Tour

Every slope here has a story, and this tour collects them all: rows of vines, old farmsteads, a climb worth making and a schnapps fountain along the way.

The first section runs flat along the stream – exactly the kind of path you hope to find: no traffic and views of the vines.

Then the route heads upwards. At the top you are rewarded with a view that people drive out here for. On an e-bike, the climb remains a pleasure.

At the Oberes Eck stands one of the fountains found only in this area: eau-de-vie on a self-service basis, paid for using the honesty box. For a safe ride home, we recommend pacing yourself at the Schnapsbrunnen.
