The same questions
The hosts of both houses have known each other for years and they ask the same questions of what makes a good evening. Where does the produce come from? Who made it? And how does it become an evening you will be talking about for a long time? The chef answering those questions in the 1839Malerhaus is Paul Stradner. He has cooked in some of Europe’s finest establishments, most recently in the Villa René Lalique in Alsace – holding two Michelin Stars. Now he crosses the Rhine and for the first time his own name is written above the door.
The journey there and back
We book your table. You get in, and we drive. You eat, drink and remain seated – our gourmet shuttle waits until you are ready. And the evening ends right outside your suite.

We arrange the table and shuttle; simply speak to reception. Depending on the evening, the table may need to be booked some time in advance.
