Up through the vines

The climb starts in the vineyards and carries on into the forest. 850 metres of ascent spread over 32 kilometres: manageable, never punishing.

The views from above

Annaruhe, Jockeleguck, a viewpoint with a bench set above the vines. These names are not new inventions; they have been transmitted through generations. The view reaches across the Achertal and out towards the Rhine plain.
